FAQ - Treatments & Implants

What is a dental implant?
Dental implants are like artificial roots of teeth which are placed into the jaw on the place of the missing teeth. They give the support for crowns, bridges and removable dentures. After 3 months healing period you can have your crowns on the implants. It is impossible to tell the difference between the original teeth and the implant supported crowns. A dental implant is natural-looking and feeling. You may forget you ever lost a tooth. Implants can last a lifetime. Dental implants are an ideal solution for people who have lost teeth due to an injury, periodontal disease or some other reason. Dental implants are more tooth-saving than the traditional bridges. It's simply more comfortable for smiling and biting. You will feel about yourself simply better and have your real confidence again.

What kind of materials are the implants made of?
Dental implants are produced from titanium. They don't cause any allergic reaction, and are accepted by human body and they cannot cause any diseases and won't be rejected.

What can dental implants do?
  • Replace one or more teeth without affecting the bordering teeth.
  • Support a bridge and eliminate the need for a removable partial denture.
  • Provide support for a denture, making it more secure and comfortable.

Why do have people dental implants?
  • Aesthetic - Dental implants look like one's own teeth.
  • They prevent bone loss and gum recession that often are caused due to bridgework.
  • Nobody can see the replacement teeth.
